Description:

Minimalistic, lightweight mod, s3m, and xm module player. Note that .it format is not supported, and s3m with AdLib instruments or pre-1.04 xm format is not compatible either.

The PureModPlayer is highly efficient in terms of CPU and storage usage. It features low power consumption through the use of native algorithms exclusively, without relying on third-party routines or libraries. Imported files are compressed into an internal database to optimize space utilization on your device.

<li>Device-independent volume control (amplification)</li>
<li>Background audio playback support</li>
<li>Remote control events responsiveness (e.g., headphone controls)</li>
<li>Integration with media player information</li>
<li>Automatic pause on audio interruption (e.g., when another application plays sound like Siri)</li>
<li>Seamless resume after quitting the app</li>
<li>Automatic song length and sub-song detection (may not be flawless in some cases)</li>
<li>Customizable song naming</li>
<li>BPM changes can be disabled for very old mod files to ensure proper playback</li>
<li>Support for up to 5 custom playlists (manual toggling for global shuffle mode)</li>
<li>Pinning current file for continuous playback</li>
<li>Module upload via iTunes (compressed zip files are supported and recommended; deflate method ensures proper functionality)</li>
<li>Automatic file compression to save around 40% of storage space (requires some time; patience advised)</li>
<li>Two visual modes: instrument/sample text and spectrum (swipe bottom component); note that the spectrum analyzer may consume additional CPU resources</li>
<li>Each module is uniquely identified using an MD5 hash to prevent wastage of device space when adding identical files</li>
<li>Tested with up to 2.5K files (initial loading of local list may take some time)</li>
<li>No usage of third-party open-source libraries</li>
</ul>

Please note: Successfully imported files will be removed from local device storage to optimize space, but they will still be retained in the internal app data directory.
